The Need in Gage County

For the past three years, CASA of Gage County has been able to assign a volunteer to every child referred by our court system. We have served over 90 children, with 40 trained volunteers. Thanks to community support, we are expanding our reach to also help youth facing significant barriers but not yet court-involved, giving them a better chance to avoid entering the system.

Why Support CASA

Donor dollars go further because our trained volunteers donate their time, allowing us to serve more children with fewer resources.

Examples of how donations help:

Phone cards for separated siblings and parents to stay in touch.
Food barriers and family support
Transportation costs for CASA volunteers to visit children, a family to get the food pantry, and busing for school.
Mandatory background checks for all volunteers.

💙 Every $25 donation equips a CASA volunteer with the training materials they need to advocate for a child in foster care. Thanks to generous supporters like you, we’ve trained 5 new volunteers in 2025, who are already making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
